Brief

Our client, an early stage Biotechnology company creating novel enzymes and speciality chemical products, had recently announced a successful Series A funding round of USD 15M.  In order to accelerate the business they needed to hire a Chief Business Officer, a key position to help the organisation develop a systematic approach to corporate development, who would lead  all commercial activities, driving revenue growth, whilst broadening the companies commercial capabilities, visibility and expertise.

Solution

We worked with the executive team to:

  • Define an effective assessment of how to define success within the position.
  • Create a culture and competence personal profile for the ideal candidate.

Our client is an early stage biotechnology start up developing a new generation of microbiome modulators with  the potential to reduce waste and disease in the food chain. The company needed to hire a Chief Technology Officer to lead the technology development at the organization in order to attract fundraising needed to accelerate growth.
